Minimalist One Hauz Khas Village - New Delhi

I was honestly considering a good review until I stepped into the junior suite, filthy. Old, dirty windows and mosquitoes everywhere- just good! I also expected a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles, but clearly, that would have been too much to ask for. This place needs serious help.

The vibe here is really something special! Met some great people , and shared stories over coffee at the cafe downstairs. The atmosphere feels alive, and you're never far from interesting conversations and laughs.

Marvellous and amazing location - minutes from a subway station. Good choice of places to visit, such as cafes and bars minutes from the hotel...

The hotel was in a stunning position near good food places and restaurants, Hauz Khas, and the huge Deer park. I tried some drinks at bar Maquina, located 5 minutes walk away. The room I booked was well maintained and clean and available with character.

At the restaurant, the breakfast was very good at 8:45am. We had a fancy and neat room with balcony. The location was stunning and fantastic, around 10-15 minutes walk from Hauz Khas Village...

The hotel has a unique aesthetic that resembles a boutique hostel, complete with a stylish vibe. It provides a private terrace that can be a nice spot to unwind when you manage to find it amidst the chaos.

Expect significant noise at night due to barking dogs and poorly insulated windows that let in a lot of street sounds. The accommodations suffer from a lack of maintenance. Doors are damaged and cleanliness is notably absent. Be prepared for inconsistent utility service-both water and electricity cuts are common and disrupt your stay. Getting to the hotel can be a hassle, especially at night when the area is dark and navigation is tricky, causing some guests to wander around cluelessly.

Spacious room with a cozy vibe, and the staff were accommodating (they even carried our bags!). Love that there's a wonderful cafe downstairs and access to taxis right outside.

The bed could be better for a good night's sleep. And the street noise can be a little distracting.

The atmosphere is vibrant, with friendly and accommodating staff ready to assist with transportation when needed. The food, especially the handmade pasta, was delicious and well-received. Access can be tricky, especially at night, as there are narrow streets where taxis cannot always drop you off directly. Noise from the street at night can also be a disturbance, and the hot water supply was inconsistent .

The atmosphere at Minimalist One is vibrant and welcoming. The café serves delicious meals throughout the day. The rooftop terrace is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Just be aware that the queen room could feel a bit cramped for two.

Charming Stay with Unique Terrace Experience!

I loved the private terrace of the studio! It provided a serene spot to unwind after the long stairs. The kind staff was great. Pro tip, pack a portable water heater, as hot water wasn't always available.

It was just a commendable fit for a mini-vacation in New Delhi with good value for cost. I enjoyed the wonderful cafe downstairs, perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast before heading out. Bring your own toiletries as some may not be provided.
